12/14/2023 0 Comments Subnautica aurora nuclear time![]() The Sunbeam is in our part of the galaxy and is mildly interested about our status. Lifepod 6 is around but did not provide an exact location (clues are in your PDA). If you've been keeping up with the radio messages, you've discovered some information. We also need a Laser Cutter and Propulsion Cannon, but we don't have the blueprints for them yet. If you can't find that debris field, don't stress. They can be labeled which helps tremendously if you drop more than one. ![]() If your base is far away from your lifepod, you can craft a beacon (copper + titanium) to help find it more easily or just drop one at any point of interest that you want to return to. ![]() ![]() If you haven't found it yet, there is a small/medium debris field along the eastern edge of the safe shallows bordering the creepvine forest, around here are helpful beacon and mobile vehicle bay fragments. For now it's mostly helpful to get down to depth quickly, but we use it more and more often as we go deeper. Just keep pulling until you reach a setting you are happy with. I really only used its flashlight in the dark but its controls are a little finnicky. The Seaglide has a 3D map and flashlight built into it. Just note that you have to remove your O2 tank from your personal equipment and back into your inventory to improve it. If you've found enough fragments for its blueprint, craft a Seaglide too (1 battery, 1 copper wire, 1 lead, and 1 lubricant(1 creepvine seed)). We need a High Capacity O2 Tank (2 glass, 4 titanium, silver, and your existing tank), a radiation suit (2 fiber mesh + 2 lead), a compass (copper wire + wiring kit), a Rebreather (wiring kit + fiber mesh), and at least 1 spare battery. With our base started, we can start our preparations for exploring the Aurora. We move most of it over to a mobile base(!) towards the end of the game anyway and only one more achievement requires a base. Feel free to trick it out as you please, build other bases around the map, or make do with your X.We need to use all of the resources you gather at some point, so stay ahead of the complicated crafting craziness to reduce that annoyance. Try to keep resources organized, however that makes sense to you.If you see a blue bladderfish (it looks vaguely like a pair of lungs swimming), chase it and grab it. For now, sneak by any Stalkers and grab a couple yellow seeds from a creepvine. They love to play with metal salvage which also knocks loose some of their teeth (more on that later). They are slower than you strafe to avoid them for now. They look like horizontal seahorses and like to get bite-y. Creepvines provide you a source of fiber and yellow seeds they also provide a natural habitat to your first predator, a Stalker. You do have some leeway but not much.Ī little further away from your pod, you soon encounter your next biome, the Creepvine Forests. Keep an eye on your O2, obviously running the meter down results in dying. You should encounter one of the very few tutorial messages, "Break Limestone." Doing so gives you either titanium or copper. Nearby should be some small wreckage called Metal Salvage which can be processed into 4 titanium using the Fabricator. This biome is the Safe Shallows, almost no danger or depth.

12/14/2023 0 Comments Tokai springy sound 1979![]() ![]() Cosmetic wear is extremely sparse, with a bit of light buckle worming between the neck plate and tremolo cavity cover, and a scant few light finish scratches in the clear coat of the gloss. The vibrant three-tone Sunburst gloss finish is faithful to a Fender burst circa 1958, applied thinly enough to have subtly settled into the prominent grain of the ash. Plastics include the one-ply white pickguard, which displays some requisite pick scuffing on the treble side, along with lightly yellowed pickup covers and knobs. The vibrato has bright chrome plating and Tokai-stamped saddles (again, mirroring Fender spec), and the unit actuates quickly for surfy warbles and deeper dives, bouncing back to the target pitch reliably. ![]() The “50” stamp denoting the model tier is stamped beyond the last fret on the fretboard.Īll the electronics function as intended, with the standard Strat Volume/Tone/Tone configuration of knobs and a three-way pickup selector. The stock Kluson-style, Tokai-stamped single line tuners are intact, turn smoothly, and hold pitch well. On the headstock, the Tokai Springy Sound waterslide decal is in excellent condition above text which reads “This is the Exact Replica of the Good Old Strat” where one would typically expect to see the small patent numbers under the model name. The nut measures 42.5mm (1.675”) in width. ![]() This Tokai plays cleanly up the 25 1/2" scale with a straight neck and responsive, optimally-adjusted truss rod. The frets are in great shape, showing only a few isolated spots of very faint wear on the crowns beneath the plain strings from frets 1-12. The maple fretboard retains the original vintage-spec slender fretwire, which has well-rounded crowns. The maple neck has a medium C-shaped profile carve with well-rounded shoulders, measuring. This Tokai weighs 7lbs 9oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, slinky action, and spot-on intonation. All three pickups meter just over 8k ohms (notably hotter than vintage Strat coils), achieving the clarity and bounce of a vintage Strat with a bit more midrange and authority. That classic Strat tone is captured faithfully by the three gray bobbin U-stamped alnico magnet single coil pickups which have plenty of sparkling treble and tight low-end. The tonewood complement provides an articulate and responsive acoustic palette, with the ash body’s midrange heft and articulation balancing out the maple board’s treble snap. Produced from 1978-83, this first-year Springy Sound has a 1950's aesthetic and tonal profile with a small Pre-CBS style headstock shape, single-ply pickguard, gloss three-tone Sunburst finish, and the tonewood pairing of a one-piece maple neck and sen ash body. Tokai Strats were so well-produced that they found their way into the hands of guitarists including Stevie Ray Vaughan and Billy Gibbons. One of the more storied vintage “Lawsuit Era” Japanese Strat-style guitars, the Springy Sound models were celebrated upon their introduction for being a faithful, high-quality spin on the classic Fender platform. Up for sale, a 1978 Tokai Springy Sound ST50 in exceptional, 100% original condition and perfect working order. 12/14/2023 0 Comments Stackoverflow developer survey 2022We know from tracking tags on Stack Overflow that Python has been growing in popularity for the last three years, and this year it’s moved up one spot to take number three. If you aren’t familiar with Al Pastor, (meaning “shepherd style” in Spanish), it is a popular pork dish in Central America in which pork is marinated in pineapple, chilies and spices then stacked and vertically roasted on a slowly turning spit with a pineapple on top which bathes the pork with its juices. I hope this Al Pastor recipe joins the ranks of my Mexican Chicken, Salsa Verde Chicken, Carnitas, Chipotle Pork, Carne Asada, Beef Barbacoa and Chipotle Chicken as one of your favorite new Mexican protein staples. In fact, he had three teenage boys from our church youth group over to our house to eat the leftovers that night – and they ate ALL of it. He loved the Al Pastor as it was coming off the grill, he loved it as it was barely warm after photos and he loved it reheated the same night. If you do, when the tech shows up, be sure to let them know if discharging static fixes the problem, as it's a giveaway as to what the problem is.Data effective. The problem may, of course, be further back in their network and you'll have to call in a help ticket. Use only carrier grade passives outdoors, but also ideally indoors buy the brands Comcast buys (Antronix, Extreme Networks, Blonder Tongue, etc.), NOT Dynex or Onn or whatever big box store brand. If that fails to fix it, check on the outside wall of the building for any splitters you can access just on your own property, and replace them with the exact same part number from the same vendor. If any splitter was the problem, replace it. Temporarily remove unnecessary splitters indoors 1 by 1 until the problem goes away use line extenders which do not split if you need that to get the cable length you need. In every such case, the FIRST thing to do, if there isn't another obvious problem like frayed or damaged cable, should be to replace every splitter in the path. Physically discharging the line by touching the center conductor of a cable to a grounded metal surface (like the outside of the cable jack on the modem itself yes, it can spark!) can help for a few days, but the cause is likely to build up again. In a lot of cases, there is static on the line from bad cabling or more commonly defective or lightning-damaged splitters and passives. Reconnecting, of course, will not always fix the underlying physical condition causing poor upstream performance. That will likely cause the CMTS (headend) to stop listening to all but 1 of them to reduce interference, slowing you down, and if the cause of interference continues, your modem will probably exceed the 58 dBmV absolute limit and have to reconnect. Contrary to what that page says with 55 dBmV, anything over 51.5 dBmV is cause for concern on a modem using multiple upstream channels (which is all of them these days). That increases interference with other customers, and eventually you hit a limit and are not allowed to transmit any louder. That means the other end couldn't hear you clearly, so the modem started talking louder. In the upstream direction, it is far more common and worse for the transmit power to be too high than too low. That's why the numbers are so different.) The opposite is true of downstream: you don't see the real transmit power, so you rely on receive and SNR. As the page notes, you don't see the real upstream SNR, or the upstream receive power, so you have to rely on the upstream transmit power. (Keep in mind the things your modem sees and the thing Comcast sees are the opposite stats for each direction. If your levels are beyond this range, you will likely see frequent disconnects or modem reboots." Will emphasize this in the page you were linked: "Upstream Power Level: This should be between 35dBmV and 55dBmV. 12/13/2023 0 Comments Valley girl poster gag me with a spoonThis line from Heathers is forever in style and forever perfect. I asked Mod Ash on Twitter about this (before I even knew that Ancients tabs required DT), and he said that he doesn't recall anyone putting restrictions on the tabs, as long as I can get them from another player. I can teleport to Catherby via one of the new tablets, but not a POH. I can teleport to Sennisten via a POH, but not a tablet. Unfortunately, I learned that these POH teleports and their respective tabs don't always match up. I could even use the Fishing Guild teleport from the Lunar spellbook via a POH, even though a Skills Necklace from a jewelry box makes it sort of obsolete. This was helpful for several more obscure clue step locations like Draynor Manor, Lumbridge Graveyard, and Sennisten (Digsite). I used W330 and other players' player owned houses for much of my clue scroll grind, because I'm unable to add teleports to a Portal Nexus myself. That being said, I've noticed several inconsistencies when it comes to which teleports are disallowed and which requirements are removed when it comes to using them via teleport tab or POH Portal Nexus. The obvious example is any teleport that brings you to Morytania, requiring Priest in Peril and a quick chat with Drezel afterwards. It's not new information that the Ancient Magicks teleport tabs are locked behind Desert Treasure as a quest requirement, and that other non-standard spellbook teleports are sometimes locked behind quests. While I understand that my account type isn't exactly the *norm*, I think this post could still be valuable to other account types and to those who haven't completed the quests discussed within. With the addition of the new Lunar Teleport Tabs (as well as Ancients tabs being craftable), I was excited to be able to teleport to some locations easier as a level three skiller.
